Shopping: Copperhill Rock & Mineral Co.
Take your time looking around... there's something for everyone.
Carved stones come in a variety of shapes from hearts to animals (below) and make fun gift ideas.
Kids will love collecting their own stone carved animals.
Everything for a rock hound, from geodes to gold pans, is available at Copperhill Rock & Mineral Company.

Just like the name says, Copperhill Rock & Mineral Company specializes in rocks and minerals. But what you may not know is they have a goldmine of geological wonders.

Step in the store and you'll be pleasantly surprised at the crystals, geodes, semiprecious stones and other items.

Kids will delight in the fossils - including dinosaur bones, or the rock candy and carved stone animals, just to name a few items. There are over 50 items in the store for under five dollars, so they will be sure to find something special.

If you're looking for unique gifts, consider the boxed mineral collections, dinosaur teeth, individual mineral specimens or books on mining and gem polishing.

Create your own jewelry from your favorite stones, or choose from the wide variety of sterling & turquoise creations and semiprecious stone necklaces and bracelets.

From a historical perspective, the Tri-State area of Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina, where Copperhill Rock & Mineral Company is located, has an added geological significance.

These mountains have copper mines that have been in existence since the days of Indian tribes.

The mines in this area have produced copper, iron, sulfur, zinc and small amounts of gold and silver over the years. The rock formations of the Copper Basin yield an amazing assortment of specimens.

Are you a rock hound planning on exploring the Copper Basin area on your own?

Copperhill Rock & Mineral carries a full supply of panning equipment, sluice boxes, rock polishers and more.

Prospector and store owner, Mark Wolff will gladly identify your rock and mineral discoveries!
