From a historical perspective,
the Tri-State area of Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina,
where Copperhill Rock & Mineral Company is located, has
an added geological significance.
These mountains have
copper mines that have been in existence since the days of
Indian tribes.
The mines in this area
have produced copper, iron, sulfur, zinc and small amounts
of gold and silver over the years. The rock formations of
the Copper Basin yield an amazing assortment of specimens.
Are you a rock hound
planning on exploring the Copper Basin area on your own?
Copperhill Rock &
Mineral carries a full supply of panning equipment, sluice
boxes, rock polishers and more.
Prospector and store
owner, Mark Wolff will gladly identify your rock and mineral
discoveries!
