Chocolate Lovers Celebration
First three weekends in February
Dahlonega: Three Sisters Vineyards
Three Sisters Vineyards presents the Annual "Wine & Chocolate
Lovers Celebration" The first three weekends in February 2008
-between 1-5PM. During this event, the winery will combine
chocolate and wines in a special tasting line-up. No reservations
are required for the free and $10 per person tastings. This
year, a special $25 per person private tasting/seating in
the winery will be offered. Reservations for the $25 tastings
are required. Limited seatings are at 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 and
4:30 PM. The $25 tasting includes a barrel tasting, souvenir
wine glass, special chocolates and Sweet Grass Dairy Georgia
Cheese tasting. Call for more information and make plans now

John C.Campbell Folk School: Brasstown, NC
Buck and Nelson Concert David Buchanan and Nelson Thomas,
aka Buck & Nelson, have been performing music together since
the mid 1970?s. They began learning the basics of music and
playing string instruments in the basement of Nelson's parent's
house. For the past 20 years they have also performed solo,
with a number of other musicians, and at many venues including
performing in "The Reach of Song" (Georgia's Official
Historical Drama). Their main instrument is the acoustic guitar,
which they both flatpick and play fingerstyle. They also bring
other instruments to perform on, including the mandolin, fiddle,
old time banjo, bluegrass banjo, harmonica, and washboard.

Storytelling Workshop

Storyteller Cayce Terrell will provide an indepth look at
the steps that lead up to a performance, including how to
remember and fix the story in the mind and body and how to
physically convey a story. The workshop will end with a group
telling of a Cherokee tale. Bring a picnic lunch. 10am to

Bridge Hike

Tallulah Gorge State Park: Tallulah Falls
Enjoy the gorge in the magical, shimmering light of the
full moon. The hike will begin at the Interpretive Center,
following the North Rim Trail, with a descent of the Hurricane
Falls Trail staircase of about 325 steps to the suspension

traditional and original folk music performed on guitar, Appalachian
mountain dulcimer, Irish tin whistle, mandolin, feet, and
old-time banjo. She entwines a moving explanation of the music
with stories from her life and musical journey. Aubrey's love
of music extends beyond the sound alone. Her pursuit is to
understand folk music as an expression of human history and
